Frequently asked questions
How do I enquire about getting custom artwork?
You can contact me either by filling out the contact form here or emailing me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tell me a bit about what kind of piece you are looking for. This can be a description of themes or colours, a bit about your personal reasons, or up to 4 images for inspiration. Please tell me about anything you specifically want included.
Every vulva I make is unique. I will not recreate a piece I've made before, but can incorporate elements from previous designs in a way that is unique for you.
PLEASE NOTE: I will not create artwork based on a photo of your genitals. If I am sent such an image, I will not respond or create artwork for you.
How much will it cost?
The price for custom work starts at £100.
The cost will increase depending on the complexity of the design, as well as larger frames, specialist fabrics, dyes and other specific elements.
I require a £20 deposit before I start designing. This deposit is non-refundable.
After the design and final price is agreed, I will begin making it as soon as possible.
I will post the completed piece once I receive the total amount.
I am happy to discuss payments in instalments, or a payment plan, if that is better for you than paying a lump sum.
I take all payments via Paypal only.
What is your design and making process?
After we have discussed what you are looking for, I use the information and images you have sent me to develop a design idea.
I will send you a sketch of the kind of piece I want to make. This is only to suggest the overall shape and colour of the piece.
This is the stage where I will ask for feedback on the design, and change it if necessary. If you would like to change anything once the piece has been started, I will try my best to accommodate it. However, if the changes alter the style, time or materials then the final price may increase.
You are purchasing a piece of artwork made by me for you. This means it will be an artistic interpretation of vulvas, and I will expect a certain amount of artistic freedom within our agreed design.
I may make small changes if I think it will improve the piece, but will discuss bigger changes with you. I will send photos as the piece is being made, to check you are happy with the progress.
If you no longer want the piece once it is started, I will keep the deposit and the piece, to do with as I wish, including putting it on general sale.
How long will it take?
On adverage, it takes about a week to design a piece, and a further month to make it. It may take longer, depending on how busy I am.
Please tell me if you have a specific timeline, and make sure to factor in delivery times from the UK.
Will my piece be shown on social media?
I will not share images of the design, or work in progress on social media while it is being made. I will, however, share images of the completed piece.
I am happy to wait until you have received it, or until you have given it to someone if it is a gift.
I also do not tag you in any posts about the artwork, so you can remain anonymous if you wish.
How long does delivery take?
I send all my orders via Royal Mail Tracked and Signed For where possible.
On average, delivery takes 1-2 days in the UK, and about a week to the US. Delivery to other countries can take longer.
